Computer New Media artist Rachel Duprey was born in Pawtucket Rhode Island. The expression of fine art has always been a part of her life, inspiring her as a young child, and influencing her as an adult to search out a rewarding career path as a working artist.
She began her art career as a freelance designer while attending the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, CA. Upon completing her B.F.A in 2003, she accepted a full time position as a Graphic Designer and New Media artist for KVH Industries, Inc. in Middletown RI.
While at KVH she created a multitude of marketing material for
the company including graphics and award-winning marketing presentations for some of the largest worldwide trade shows,
print marketing material, interactive and motion graphic designs.
Her "Experience TACNAV" web site won the 2006 Online Communications Distinguished award from the Society for Technical Communications Boston chapter, and an Award of Excellence in the Society for Communications 2006 International Award Competition.
